Metatarsus adductus:
It is also known as metatarsus varus, is a common foot deformity noted at birth
that causes the front half of the foot, or forefoot, to turn inward.
Treatment:
– Stretching or passive
– Manipulation exercises
– Casts
– Surgery
Skew foot:
A skewfoot is a congenital birth problem in the formation and growth of the
bones in the foot. Some doctors will also refer to this as a “Z”-foot.
Most children have a foot that appears to hook inward or has a “C” shaped
appearance.
Treatment:
Stretching & serial casting
In severe cases surgery is done.
Hallux valgus:
It is a deformity of the joint connecting the big toe to the foot. The big toe often
bends towards the other toes and the joint becomes red and painful.
Symptoms:
It include irritated skin around the area, pain when walking, joint redness and
pain, and possible shift of the big toe toward the other toes.

Hallux varus:
It is Characterized by medial deviation of great toe relative to the 1st metatarsal
bone.
